It's worth noting that most midi loft beds that have desks require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with an slatted wooden base. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds can accommodate standard UK single mattresses, and the top bunk is equipped with the safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models have a fantastic pull-out drawer for a trundle to sleep in or additional storage space beneath the bed. They can be opened or fitted with doors (please look at the product details for more details).

Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to another or chests. This gives children their own space to keep all of their belongings. This also means that they don't need to make use of floor space with bulky shelving or wardrobes.

A few models have taken it an extra step with cabinet style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard or footboard. This is great for storing toys and books.
