Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has pulled out of the planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot. The company said that the deal faced "undue regulatory obstacles." Amazon will pay iRobot the breakup cost of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed to be anti-competitive by the European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and also the top antitrust enforcement agency).
