It's more expensive than the other options, but our testers said it was worth the cost because it's tough and can withstand even the most strenuous trips.

If you're looking for a stroller that's light but can also handle some difficult terrain, opt for three-wheelers. The Thule Shine is an excellent choice, and we've called it a previous winner in this category. The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport utility is a great stroller to choose for those who want to get off the beaten path and exercise. The jogging stroller has pneumatic knobby tires that are perfect for running trails and hand brakes that let you control the downhills. It also has a top-of-the-line suspension system with a two-step folding system, and an enormous cargo basket. If you purchase the right adapters, you can use it with the child car seat.

The biggest issue with this stroller is its weight and fold dimensions. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is the average for this group. Its large footprint is not suitable for tight turns and narrow trunk space. However, it has a small handle at the back of the storage bin that can be pulled to fold the stroller into a compact, flat position.

Despite its size, this stroller is easy to move around. The front wheel is equipped with a locking mechanism which lets you switch from normal to locked running mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to accommodate different heights for parents. It has a large seat that can be reclined to almost flat and an enormous vinyl peekaboo window.

The Sport Utility also scored a 9/10 for its exceptional quality. It has a strong frame made of aluminum that has tight connections, smooth edges and no sloppy stitching. It also comes with adjustable shocks, which help with smooth-rolling performance.

As with the other BOB strollers we've reviewed the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that allow you to use it with different infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes during our tests to assemble the stroller, starting from unpacking it until it was ready to go. It was simple enough to complete, however you'll need a Philips head screwdriver to complete the task. The instruction manual is well-organized and clear, however it's a good idea to have one in your case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

This jogger is built with safety, fashion and user-friendliness as its main goals. It has a parent tray that includes 2 cup holders and covered storage, as well as the child tray which is able to swing away and includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-a-boo windows and a wide ergonomically-designed handle, offer comfort to both parents. The instructions are confusing, with multiple languages mixed up and confusing drawings.

The only drawback for this jogger is its lack of a suspension system. This means that the ride may be more bumpy than other strollers that are all-terrain. This could make it more uncomfortable for children, particularly when they're on close to a nap. The air-filled wheels are nice, however they don't offer as much cushioning as the rubber tires found on strollers that are more expensive.

This is a great choice for those who don't exercise often but still need to be able to easily move over gravel or grass without having to worry about obstructions like curbs or other obstacles. It's also a good option for families with limited space as it folds into the size of a compact unit. It's lighter than a lot of the other joggers we've tried and fits into spaces that some full-size strollers won't.

Another advantage is that it's easier to lift and carry than the heavier joggers we've tried. This is important for if you need to lift it into and out of your car trunk on a regular or if you're constantly in motion.

The latest version of Out 'n' About's 3-wheeled jogging stroller is designed specifically for jogging and comes with large 16'' pneumatic alloy tyres that can handle even the most difficult trails and tracks. The Nipper is light and compact which makes it easy to transport and fold.

This pushchair is equipped with a handlebar and front suspension, making it suitable for all types of terrain. It also comes with a multi-position recline seat and removable quilted seat liner and a padded five point safety harness and a hinged bumper bar. It is also compatible with travel systems, meaning you can use it with a Cybex Maxi-Cosi and Be-Safe baby car seat.

This buggy also has an enormous front wheel that assists in providing an enjoyable ride for the child. This is crucial, particularly when you are tackling difficult terrain pushchairs. It allows the buggy track better and glide better over bumps and dips. In addition to this the Nipper Sport is also very easy to drive. The handlebar is ergonomically designed, and comes with an easy-lock brake with a single pedal and a movable steering. The buggy folds easily, thanks to the clear instructions and pictures provided in the user's manual.

The Nipper Sport is suitable for children up to the age of six months. It can be used with a newborn due to its built-in infant insert. It is not recommended to use it with babies less than six months old since the harness isn't tight enough to ensure their safety.

Another problem with this pushchair is the absence of a storage bin underneath the seat. It does have a small shopping pouch on the back of the seat, but it would not be large enough for a large changing bag. It is very easy to open and close. Only two hand-holds are needed to release the plastic catch that is located on either side of the lower frame. The red handlebar comes with an additional lock that can be opened by using only one hand.
